As part of the civic association of which Pekiti-Tirsia Kali Czech Republic is a member, we also organize
exercises for children. These are training sessions led by PTK instructors, which emphasize primarily the
development of motor skills, coordination of movements, and physical and mental endurance.

In addition to these basic skills, we teach children how to handle weapons. However, this does not mean that they are given knives, swords, or other dangerous items. In layman’s terms, children learn how to handle
a “stick.” The primary goal of this part of the training is to teach children how to avoid hurting themselves and those around them.
How to handle any object so that it becomes a helper in their hands in everyday life. During the exercises, children develop a natural respect for weapons.

Another above-standard dimension is training children to cope with unusual or dangerous situations. We teach children how to act when approached by a stranger, how to recognize the potential danger of such a person. We also teach them how to act and maintain basic caution when encountering an injured stranger or how to help a friend who is injured. We also explain to children how to behave in situations where, for example, a fire breaks out, etc.
In this type of training, we use model situations and role-playing scenarios that teach children
to act prudently and effectively in such situations. This training is designed to prevent panic
and rash behavior in children when encountering unfamiliar situations. Our training aims to prepare children for such situations. Children are then not stressed because they already know the situation from training, have experienced it,
and know how to deal with it.
